The project
A small outpatient clinic where the plan, the parking and the drop-off all had to work for patients who arrive anxious.
For a clinic this size, the architecture is mostly logistics: a clear entrance, a short walk from the car, a reception desk you can see from the door, and exam rooms arranged so nobody has to be walked past the waiting room twice.
The building is deliberately plain outside and calm inside — brick, a covered drop-off and clerestory daylight over the waiting area.
